  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

Council has received an unsolicited bid for the purchase of a portion of Wilden’s Way land, Long Island Murray Bridge.  The Council is satisfied that the bid offered represents value for money.  Council has resolved to consult with the community on the method of disposal to ensure that Council sells the land at or above current market value by which ever method is likely to maximise the return to Council. (the unsolicited bid and the proponent/s information is commercial in confidence and does not form part of the consultation)

In accordance with Council’s Asset Sale and Disposal Policy, Council has considered a disposal method for sale of the Wilden’s Way land utilising the option of:

“negotiate with the owners of adjoining land or others with a pre-existing interest in the land” with the sale price being at or above current market value.
