The Rural City of Murray Bridge is inviting community feedback on three draft Asset Management Plans which will help guide the long-term management of important Council assets.
The draft plans cover the Swimming Centre, Stormwater Harvesting infrastructure and Plant and Fleet assets, capturing the services Council proposes to provide using these assets, and associated costs operating and maintaining the level of service into the future.
Asset Management Plans play an important role in helping Council responsibly manage community assets, supporting informed decision-making around the service provided and connected maintenance, renewal, risk and long-term financial impacts.
The draft Swimming Centre Asset Management Plan focuses on the long-term management of an important recreational and community facility.
The draft Stormwater Harvesting Asset Management Plan outlines the management of infrastructure that supports water sustainability and environmental outcomes through the capture, storage and reuse of stormwater.
The draft Plant and Fleet Asset Management Plan guides how Council manages vehicles, machinery and operational equipment that support essential service delivery across the region.
Community members can view the draft plans and provide feedback via Council’s consultation portal letstalk.murraybridge.sa.gov.au and paper copies can be found at the Local Government Centre and the Murray Bridge Library.
