The Rural City of Murray Bridge is inviting the community to help shape the future of wellbeing across the region, with the draft Community Wellbeing Strategy opening for public consultation on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
The draft Community Wellbeing Strategy provides a roadmap for how Council will help foster conditions that support the people who live, work and visit our communities to thrive.
The Strategy builds on important work already undertaken and currently underway across the region, including the 2024 Wellbeing Summit, the Murray Bridge Wellbeing Hub, the adoption of Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan and long-term planning for growth.
The Strategy focuses on areas where Council believes it can make the greatest difference through its service delivery, influence and partnerships to help enhance quality of life across the region.
Council is encouraging the community to review the draft Strategy and share feedback during the consultation period.
Community members can view the draft Community Wellbeing Strategy can and provide feedback via Council’s consultation portal letstalk.murraybridge.sa.gov.au and paper copies can be found at the Local Government Centre and the Murray Bridge Library.
A drop-in Information Session will be held on Thursday 21 May between 2.30 - 4.00pm at the Murray Bridge Library, 2/51 South Terrace, Murray Bridge SA 5253. Council staff will be available to answer any specific questions and the community is welcome to drop in anytime between 2.30 – 4.00pm.
