Council has developed the draft Plan to assist our Community understand where Council resources are committed to Emergency Management in accordance with the State Emergency Management Plan. The Plan also addresses identified hazards and risks along with a mitigation action plan.
The intent is for the draft plan to provide our Community and Visitors with relevant information on what to do in the case of an emergency and assist in developing their own personal and business plans.
As part of the engagement process, Council will be holding various workshops in the outer communities to receive feedback and also gain information to create Community Profiles. This information will assist us refining our Operational plans and Recovery Plans.
