Murray Bridge Community Children's Centre Lease

Project Overview

Pursuant to Section 202 (2) of the Local Government Act 1999 and in accordance with the Council’s Public Consultation Policy the Council seeks written submissions from interested persons concerning the proposed lease for the Murray Bridge Community Children’s Centre (MBCCC).

The Centre is seeking a new lease to continue offering vital children’s services and activities to the local community.

Established in 1987, the Murray Bridge Community Children’s Centre is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation managed by a committee that includes parents, the Centre Director and a staff representative. Over the past 37 years, MBCCC has been dedicated to providing high-quality care and fostering the development of local children through play-based learning in a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment.

The Centre’s educators collaborate closely with families and the wider community to create programs that cater to the holistic needs of each child, celebrating diversity and encouraging growth through a range of indoor and outdoor experiences. Recognising the importance of play in children’s lives, the Centre aims to inspire and support young learners on their developmental journey.

The proposed lease is for a five (5) plus five (5) ground lease.

Feedback forms and a map of the proposed lease area are available online at the Council’s consultation portal, letstalk.sa.gov.au.

Paper copies are available at the Local Government Centre and Murray Bridge Library

Consultation closes at 5pm Friday 31 January 2025.

The survey is now closed. Thanks for participating.
