Rural City of Murray Bridge Strategic Plan Consultation 2024 - 2028
Our Community Plan 2016-2032 articulates our community’s vision of Thriving Communities. This plan identifies our community needs priorities and aspirations. It reflects on what our community told us during extensive engagement undertaken in 2015. Every four years, Council prepares a Strategic Plan that keeps us on track to delivering your vision.
We are in the process of planning for our next four years and are wanting to work together with the community to make sure we’re on the right track. We aren’t coming to you with a blank page. Instead we are coming to you to ask you what you think are the most important things that Council needs to be focusing on in the next 4 years in order to keep working towards your vision of Thriving Communities. We are looking forward to hearing what your priorities are and using these to inform the development of our Strategic Plan 2024 - 2028.

Pool by the river
To have a large pool whether chlorinated or filtered river water next to river would bring so much tourism to area and keep us locals happy too

Connection with smaller communities
Linking in with surrounding community groups, such as the Monteith Hall to preserve history and community connections for the future.

Hard waste collection
A regular hard waste collection (bi-monthly?), to remove the unsightly piles of "junk" that some people just leave out on the street!

Public Transport
Advocacy and facilitation for an improved local bus service (e.g., Mt Barker's Keoride), that isn't just for 9-5 weekday operation, but better hours of operation and frequencies. Better connection to Adelaide Metro services and connection to local townships.
