DRAFT Railway Precinct Community Land Management Plan

Consultation has concluded

The Rural City of Murray Bridge has developed a draft Community Land Management Plan for the Railway Precinct—Historical Railway Buildings after purchasing the site in June 2020.

In accordance with the Council’s Public Consultation Policy and Pursuant to Section 197 of the Local Government Act 1999, the Rural City of Murray Bridge seeks written submissions from interested persons concerning the draft Plan.

Three distinct management areas for the land and buildings have been identified as:

Historical Railway Buildings – comprises four historical refurbished buildings, Railway Control Building, Murray Control Building, Signalman’s Cottage and the Railway Institute.

Historical Railway Cottage Garden Area – Comprises the land adjacent, in and around the buildings for the purposes of walkways and cottage garden

Historical Railway Precinct Entrance – comprises the main thoroughfare to the Historical Railway Buildings.

Council would like your feedback on the draft plan for the precinct.
