THE RIDER Safe program delivered by the Department of Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) is seeking a new 10-year lease, to continue to train novice motorcycle riders with basic and advanced motorcycle skills necessary for safe road use. 

Rider Safe has been operating at the Murray Bridge Showgrounds since 2013 and the Rural City of Murray Bridge wishes to give members of the community a chance to share their thoughts on the program continuing to use a part of the Murray Bridge Showgrounds.

Acting General Manager Assets and Infrastructure Deb Richardson said, “I encourage residents and all stakeholders of the Murray Bridge Showgrounds to share their views on the proposed use of the site by the DIT Rider Safe Program.” 

The Rider Safe Program is a compulsory motorcycle-training course for all novice motorcycle riders. The program trains potential riders with basic and advanced motorcycle skills vital for the road.
